1000' up in 43 min. 1:27 total. What miserable, craggy, crappy terrain to hike on. Uck! The only thing that made it worthwhile was seeing a desert tortoise on the way down...The views, although they were spectacular, alone wasn't worth it but that combined with the tortoise was well worth it. Never again tho.
