A great hike on a wonderful day, amazing views just before & just after the summit. North Twin Trail is quite easy along Little River (1.9 mi) if you skip the first two water crossings by staying on a well traveled herd trail. The final water crossing wasn't hard due to a very dry summer. The remaining 2.4 miles are moderately steep and rather eroded. As a whole, a beautiful trail with rewarding views of the Pemigewasset Wilderness.
