Took North Peak Trail from Mineral Creek Trailhead. The creek flowed nicely.
Then off trail to the summit. There is a fair amount of manzanita to fight (not as bad as Mazatzal Peak but similar), then a very steep pine forest hill to climb (a lot of game trails alleviate the pain). Then finally a walk up the main ridgeline all the way to the top with a couple of scrambles on the way. That part is the most enjoyable of the off trail and cairned (even if you don't really need them at that point).
Views at the top are similar to Mazatzal Peak. Looked around but could not find a summit register.
Overall a good challenge and most likely a seldom climbed peak. The Mazzies always deliver.
