A gorgeous day, Hiked 13.8 miles from the tram parking lot over Cannon to South Kinsman then retraced my steps and headed down to Lonesome Lake Hut, hung out with the caretaker for an hour and enjoyed the view of the sun setting on the Franconia Range across the lake, then continued to hike down to the Pemi trail, made camp off a ski trail and passed out to the sound of trucks rumbling by, but it made for a short (and beautiful) walk the following morning back to the parking lot.
