Leading a party for Waymark, based at Trins. From G H Waldesruh, Obernbergertal. We walked to Obernbergersee. From the inn beside the lake, we followed paths (part of the way a forest track) to Obernberger Tribulaun. The route to the summit is well marked with one small section of fixed ropes – not difficult. From the summit we continued to the Italian border. I had intended to go over Schwarze Wand but I could see a large amount of snow which would probably have made the route difficult and dangerous. Instead we went SE over the summit of Nӧrdlicher Roßlauf. A few small snow fields were slightly tricky. At a point a little north of Südlicher Roßlauf we took a small intermittent path and then across meadows to join a path to G H Waldesruh. A fine trip.
