Perfect weather for a pleasant hike. Bit chilly with the northern wind and snow not too deep. I started at the Correboi pass and easily reached Monte Bruttu behind a low fence (probably put by the shepherds located in the other valley to contain livestock). I got back on a dirt road that runs leveled along the north face of the Nodu 'e Littipori up to a saddle at about 1370masl. From there probably depart easy paths though I could not find them below about 50cm of snow. So I started navigating the slope upwards walking over ice and snow. It was not very deep but crampons were really useful to have easy grip and balance on the frozen landscape. Once on top of the ridge at around 1500masl I got great views of surronding peaks and could see most of the highest summits in Sardinia to the W, plus the lake of Bau Mela, Monte Perda Liana among many and the villages of Fonni and Villanova Strisaili. To get to the actual summit I had to watch out for the occasional snowfield, that were deeper there higher on the ridge; a pair of snowshoes would have been great.
