I do not remember exactly what year, but about the summer of 1969, several of us climbed to the summit of Niut Mountain. I made a return trip in Winter (January) 1970 or 71, Two of us climbed to the summit, sunshine weather, a light breeze and -20 degrees. 3 short days to summit including a fall through the ice at the small lake and a one day return.
