"Geocaching trip. Access road was open for a change. Christmas/New Year break I guess. Saved a long climb otherwise. Horrible conditions with thick fog and mist the whole way - very wet as the bush was dripping. Nil view at top, but all geocaches found." — andyc • Dec 30, 2023

"Geocaching/Tramping trip. Up from Kikiwa-Tophouse Road via bush track. Arrived at the 4x4 track and had to put on a few extra layers due to the cold wind. Got one glimpse at the summit before the cloud came down. Arrived at the summit and view a couple of workers attending to the communications gear. Bitterly cold on top so after finding the cache headed on to Beebys Hut for lunch. Returned to car the same way. If coming up here again at this time of year it will be via the 4x4 road the whole way as the bush track was rather wet and slippery." — andyc • May 31, 2023

"Clockwise circuit from Mt Richmond car park. 1st evening, walked into Richmond saddle hut, 2nd day up to Mt Richmond, traverse to Mt Fell, then 13 km traverse through untracked beech forest along range to Mt Fishtail, reached summit in dark.
