I started the ascent from Miwa Shrine in Okabe(currently in Fujieda city). After about one hour steep climb I finally reached the ridge extending westward from the summit. It is called Fujimi-toge a lookout for Mount Fuji, 427m above sea level. The mountaintop area has two peaks, west peak has a trig point, 501.4m, and monument for soldiers who perished during second world war. East peak has a huge relay tower and a small shrine, Takakusa-yama Daigongen. East Peak also has a fine view of Mount Fuji, Yaizu Port and Nihondaira Highlands. I descended through Megurisawa Rindo, an agri-road which has been managed by NTT Docomo. After about one hour walk from the summit I saw the hamlet of Megurisawa and another 20 minutes reached the National Route #1. From there I took old Tokaido Road and crossed Meiji Tunnel, passed Utsunoya old town and ended the walk at Shizuoka side of Michino-eki Utsunoya.
