Detoured off the Whakamarina track at Fosters Clearing and walked around the ridges to the summit. It was a nice walk through open Silver Beech forest most of the way. I also dropped down to the Mt Sunday Bivvy for a look. There were great views back along the Richmond Range toward Mt Fishtail from the summit as the morning sun was behind me when looking in that direction.
