Fun but tough hike with lots of switchbacks. Big crevices and huge chunks of snow and ice spattered about in summer. Rocky in spots. Beautiful view of snow capped peaks at top and an awesome clear blue see through alpine pond looking down from the top facing north east. Bears can be present in this area. Saw some grouse and fresh Mtn. Lion tracks in the snow near mid mountain. Be advised.
