Last Beartooth peak I climbed with my dad, the original mountaineer of the family. Hazy and smoky day, but visibility was good on the plateau. Walked up boulder strewn vegetation patches from Sliderock Lake camp along SE flank of mountain. Stopped to view down small glaciers and tarn in the head of the Hairpin Lake drainage.

Large boulders presented fun climb ons/arounds as we progressed up ridgeline to top -- strong winds on top. Made our descent down WSW side of the mountain through grassy boulder strewn slopes. Stopped to view Moon Lake in next drainage over before proceeding down to SW shore of Sliderock and back to basecamp.
