The hike up whiteface was quite difficult taking the ledges, especially with a ladder missing however the views at the top and along the ledges was spectacular. The sky had a beautiful golden hour at noon, CRAZY RIGHT! The weather was great until I started down from Passaconaway, then it started raining. Boy was that fun. Met a wonderful woman and her dash hound at the summit and the 3 of us hiked back down until the trail split to go back to the parking lot and to white face. I am still surprised to this day that the dash hound (Freya) was able to climb all those rocks mostly without the woman's assist.
