This is not a difficult peak, it's just very long. there are some steep parts but it's mostly a very manageable grade. The worst part is the length of this hike. View is phenomenal. Pretty cool to be looking down on every other high peak. We went down the south side of the mountain. The trail gets a little hard to follow at parts that way, and a large section of the trail north towards lake Arnold was underwater. Unless you are making excellent time and plan to hit Gray or Skylight, it's probably better to go back down the north side of the mountain.
