After climbing up the Clingmans tower I headed down to hike along the A.T. for a while, first NB to Mt. Love, then SB to Mt. Buckley. The northbound A.T. trail here coincides with North Carolina's Mountains to the Sea Trail, which also was a bridle path in years past, and fairly follows the state line between North Carolina and Tennessee. It descends quite steeply then levels off for a nice trip out to Mt Love, which had no view at all.
