Winter is almost here. Trail was very wet with recent rain and runoff+ leaves made descent on the Barlow Trail especially slick....be careful. Around 2600', there was a steady increase in snow and some ice on the trail. Just enough to make one look down and think about foot placement. Later in the morning as the temperatures rose, there was significant melting so the trails were less icy/snowy.

The views from the firepower were stupendous with lots of color everywhere and dense undercast in the valleys. You could see Mt Washington, over 65 miles away, in all of it's snow-capped beauty. Other than the cold wind, it was a perfect day to find peaks at the summit.
