Spent 2 nights at Perch lean--to , First day climbed up to ADAMS and Madison went back down to Perch, Next day we went up early in dark and got Jefferson, Clay aND Washington it was a grey cool day no snow on slopes or upper ridge, we found it great to experience the alpine in the east. I really missed the Coast and Cascades of the Pacific North West.
