Drove to Mount Hickey. Parked down teh track and walked up to the summit. Set up the radio gear a little below the summit away from the infrastructure. Activated VK3/VN-015 and made 5 contacts. Packed up and returned to car. Drove to Broadford and around to Mount Piper nature Conservation Reserve to park in the car park. Climbed up to the summit and set up the radio gear at the trig to activate VK3/VN-028 for SOTA, making 5 contacts. Packed up and returned to the car and then travelled to Sunbury to stay with friends for the night.
