I led a group of 9 people in the Chinook Outdoor Club up to Dawson Pass and then (4 of us) up to the summit of Mt Helen. A hot day with not a cloud in the sky and negligible wind. We took a boat ride on the Sinopah on the way out. On the ascent we took the South Shore Trail since the North Shore trail was closed.
