nice guides. civets, monkeys, and other forms of wildlife still there in the forests of Mt. Guiwan. Its streams still have abundant eels. A waterfalls estimated to be one km long from its first drop down to the bottom flows from near the summit of the mountain also exists.

Mt. Guiwan is actually located in the Mamparang Range, a section of the Sierra Madre mountain range which branched out from Aurora province to the town of Alfonso Castaneda, the southeastern tip of the province of Nueva Vizcaya. The "Zamora trail" to the summit is not its official or local name. It was a shortcut and the name was used only to refer to it when an informal report was made. The "Bazura trail" on the other hand was only a quick quip during the descent through another trail and not really being used to name it. No arrogation is being made as to the naming of the trails nor of who summitted first because Mt. Guiwan is the hunting grounds of the Bugkalots since time immemorial up to the present. Locals said that there are other trails from other villages.
