Cat and I hiked to Turbine Canyon. We crossed the glacier to get to the base of the mountais. We did not use the rope - small crevasses were obvious. Went up on the rock on the snowy steep slope, which looked really steep, but it was fine. Sometimes after, an attrocious scree, and slabs started: one step up, half a step slide. Cat led through some steep terrain to avoid slippery sections. Once we reached the ridge it was now great. French Guillotin section was easier going up to th summit; when comming down it felt more exposed (a bit more sloping down) - but overall not nearly as bad as I immagined.
