the day started cold, but quickly warmed up to spring conditions. We went up the shortcut (recommended), and had good conditions. A crust of wind slabs would break often, but did not propagate. On the way down, several snow-compacted pactehs made for uneven skiing, which is too bad as this most be a spectacular run down with powder!
