I went the Northeast route. I was surprised how full the Halfmoon parking lot was at 7:00 am.
This was my first 14er. My pace slowed as I went higher. Slow but sure I made it. I met a lot people on the trail. As I was hiking down I met a young man going up. He had already hiked Mt Massive that morning. It was a great hike to do.
