Thanks God nothing happened. Beside that it still was very exciting and challenging experience. From the road where we parked or Jeep to the very top is 16 kilometers (according to our GPS tracker). We honestly don't think anybody is able to make it from the road to the very top in one day. Maybe it is still possible if you try it at the end of June with a very early start from the trail head, but it is still a long journey. The biggest problem on the trip is absence of running water almost from the very beginning to almost glaciers area, which is approximately 15 kilometers away and above 2,000 meters elevation gain. We had to stop for overnight camping at 1,900 meters elevation and all the water we had was from a puddle nearby left after the previous week rain. A second big problem, especially if you stacked in a complete darkness during descent, is the absence of a trail. After approximately 1,500 meters elevation gain the "official" trail ends and you are on your own. Some previous climbers tried to mark their way up with red ribbon strips, so if you lucky to see it you may cut your time going up.
