Challenged ourselves by hiking the loop hike through Avalanche Pass on a subzero day with windchills of -20 to -45 throughout the day. We were prepared for a cold day and Mother Nature delivered on her promise of tough weather but also gave us a beautiful view. Tough 13.2 mile loop that took us just over 9 hours with the conditions.
