Our main goal was to reach Tinagong Dagat, the famous lake of Lambunao, Iloilo. Our trail-head was in Brgy. Jayubo (or Inca), where we arrived on August 24, 2001. On our way to the lake on the third day from our transit camp in Sitio Budyan, we used the Cabatangan trail that passes by the summit of Mount Cabatangan.
