I had just started a new job and was in Kalispell for 2 weeks, so I hiked the Mt. Brown Lookout trail near Lake MacDonald up to the obs. tower. While having a snack, a young mt. goat came up behind me. Fortunately it wandered away as the mother was about to attack! Note: this trail only goes to the Lookout Tower, at 7478', not the actual 8438' summit, which you'd have to bushwhack quite a way to.
