Cetinje mountains

"Montenegro. Drove up through Lovcen Park coming from Cetinje. Went up the steps through the mountain. People left lots of cairns. Visited the mausoleum of the ruler and poet Njegos. Got a piece of paper with some history in hard written English. Stayed a bit in the circle. "While being on Tendor in Kotor with the Mein Schiff 3 I took this opportunity to pay a visit to this Mountain. Wish I could have more time to take the Hike from Kotor to the Peak which is a Full Day Tour. Unfortunately no such luxury while working. "We started our hike down in Kotor at sea level, climbed the old donkey route up to the Mausoleum at Jezerski Vrh, then continued down to the old capital city, Cetinje. In total, it was a hike of just over 30km with splendid views of the Bay of Kotor and the surrounding mountains, despite the haze from the 38C heat. What's more, we had the mountain to ourselves - we met only one other hiker on our travels, despite being gone all day!
