A few months ago we went up this mountain. Formerly a coast drum with a Vickers cannon of 1926 ( 18 meters of length and 35 km of reach).
At present it is a natural place with a well preserved forest and beautiful views.
We started near Portman by an old Roman road, we circled a fallen pine and we followed a path that is gaining height. We saw the Mediterranean and at the entrance of the fort, feathered serpents representing Kukulkan.
