From the hairpin in the road to the southwest. Walked up the steepish gully, muddy and slippery on foot after recent rain. Reach an open area under mature trees. At some point before this there are are some paths heading off for a more direct route, but they were heavily overgrown with brambles. So followed the CAI path more or less, joining the gravel road and zigzagging up that once or twice to where it turns to the right as a path. A bit further along there is a possible route direct to the summit, but we chose to walk to the north side of the mountain, to the saddle with Monte La Noce, to see if there was a more marked route. Path markings take you to this point. Beyond here we double backed to climb it on the more exposed northern ridge. Close to the unremarkable summit, a succession of pointed outcrops of rock, the vegetation became very thick. Some signs of paths, and there is one marked on an old map that would take you on down the ridge, but very overgrown. Approx 2.30 hrs with quite a bit of dithering and bramble disentanglement!
