Approached it from the south from Maine Hwy. 17. Trail head a little challenging to find. Early sections muddy with some poison ivy to the side; got better once the trail got into the Kennebec Land Trust land. Summit is marked with a sign on a tree plus a cairn. No views from the summit; trail is heavily wooded.
