There are three distinct peaks on this mountain, When you start from the Brattleboro, Vt side on Mountain Road your accent will lead to it's lower North peak which has a wonderful view of Brattleboro and surrounding area near it, with cell towers. Just beyond the cell towers and a bit South is the slightly higher South summit. you then decend into a valley and come back up to get to the amazing views that can be seen from this mountains ledge and mine area. You will notice blue ribbon blaze for the Old Mine trail loop. Heading East from the ledges you will go over the Mine ledge peak which tops out at 1365ft. The Mine Ledge trail keeps heading East to a clearing which seems like yet another peak at 1342ft which includes a large cairn (created by me). Head east as the trail decends slightly you will soon notice "Ann Stokes Loop" trail blazes that leads you toward West Chesterfield, NH to Indian Pond and into "Mademe Shari's Forest and Castle. Just on the other side of the small Indian Popnd is East Hill which has two vista's, one that looks over Indian Pond and the other to thye East. From there you can connect to Daniels Mountain which has a trail that connects to Bear Mountain and all the way to Pisgah State Park Kilburn Pond trail head. The entire Mountain is approx 3 miles long.
