This is a great trail and in good shape! Moderately strenuous. 3 1/2 miles to the summit. We saw lots of deer. In fact, a surprised fawn ran right into me, literally. However, bring mosquito repellent. Beautiful wildflowers in the alpine meadows and the view from the top is fantastic.
