An afternoons walk from the Kirkstile Inn, we walked up the grassy lane past the farm, after the gate, we came out onto the open hillside, we then climbed up steeply over heather covered slopes, with rocky outcrops onto the summit ridge and to the North top. From there we dropped slightly on the grassy summit to a depression and then up to the South top. We returned to the col and there dropped down to Mosedale Beck and returned to the Kirkstile Inn and had a refreshing beer.
