Parked east of Polskeoch Farm at NS 69214 02525. I took the Southern Upland Way west to the track junction, then the forest road north-west - mind out for timber lorries and windfarm vehicles. Once out of the forest just below the highest point on the road, I took a boggy ATV track up to the summit of Corse Hill. Then returned to the road. A new dirt track, not marked on the map, at NS 66013 03277 goes over Ryegrain Rig 600m to a high aerial. Then I followed the fence up onto Meikledodd Hill. Then I continued along the county border fence up onto Alwhat. Returned by outward route. Solo.
