A bit of a scramble east down Sean Mheal, the boulders giving way to a boggy saddle between the two main rises. The midges chased me up Meall nan Dearcag, the final peak of the day. From there it was a steep descent finding a route between the crags and avoiding the holes in the large clumps of grass and moss that threatened to swallow me whole. Then down to the fence, and another steep descent on soft slippery grass through a magical forest, hiding a bemused deer, to meet the burn and then a walk along the road to Laggan Lock.
