Parked along the road. Didn't know what the best spot to park was so I opted to parked outside a gate that was supposed to be locked. Crossed a new growth area, which still had a lot of slash lying around. Shortly after that I found an ATV trail which I used to do most of the elevation gain. It was steep in places. At a certain point I opted to break off the ATV trail as it was getting quite snowy, and the forest beside it didn't have any significant snow. The slopes were still fairly steep. Just before the sumimt there was a clearing to the west that is visible from the start. Above this clearing there were some snow patches, that could be tackled head-on, I opted to go around them on the right. Went back the same way.
