The last peak of the day! Did the Lower Great Range starting at Sawteeth and making our way over to LWJ. This one was brutal! The sun was setting behind UWJ to our backs and it seemed we might be racing daylight. It seemed to take forever to descend UWJ before hitting the White trail. We had lost a LOT of elevation coming down UWJ as well. The hike up was a lot of elevation in the .5 miles leaving the junction. The trail was pretty dry and I knew it would be easier coming down. Not much of a view at the summit, no marker of any sort but we ran into a few illegal campers setting up tents for the night. Made our way back to the junction in 15 minutes!
