This was a tough peak. Though several hundred feet lower than the benchmark peak, this was much harder. I started out on the same route I took to Yucca Benchmark over ridges on the east side, then dropped into a wash & climbed back up to the summit. Saw 2 bald eagles on the way up. The summit itself had lots of cliff bands & the entire hike had steep loose talus & scree. It was very tiring! The route finding was tricky. There were only 4 other signatures in the register. Flowers are in full bloom. Very nice views. This would be a good loop with Yucca Benchmark.
