From the car park at NY280253 near Latrigg. Solo. Up one of the standard ways up Skiddaw and then deviating to follow the path a little to the west of Whit Beck, which goes up to the col between Jenkin Hill and Lonscale Fell. Rather curiously the OS 1:50,000 map shows this path as ending at the col with no continuation. Hence eastwards to cairn at the summit of Lonscale Fell and highest point a little to the south. Continued to Skiddaw.
