Gutter Tor Car Park was the start on this icy cold day with a calm, freezing fog in the air. The plan to walk the Drizzle Combe valley and then bear south to Grim’s Grave, returning via Shavercombe Tor with a spot of lunch on Hen Tor to test the new stove was a great success. Nobody around and temperature never went above 0’c. 13.6km. Calm and cold. Solo.
