Solo. From carpark at Lamington Church as there is no where to park any nearer. Along road to Baitlaws and then a track signposted for walkers that goes eastwards. Found a path going up the hillside at the side of forest that lies on the north side of Cowgill Loch - not shown on OS 1:50,000 map. Track goes virtually to summit.
