This was a Metge Family ascent - with myself (Dad), Gini (8 years old) and Thomas (7 years old). We parked near the gate, leaving us about 3 miles and 2600 feet of climbing. We made it all the way to the top - even with Gini's ankles hurting and Thomas freezing. The wind was fierce - somewhere between 40-50Mph gusting.
