Rainy day hike with my girlfriend. Plenty of snow. I brought my snowshoes and she walked in my tracks. We started out on an old road and then bushwacked up the southeast ridge from the end of the road. The trees thinned out near the summit and had it been a clear day I imagine you could see Lake Easton through the trees. You're pretty much staring at Monahan Mountain to the south. We didn't stick around long at the top. We were ready to get out of the rain and sink our teeth into some Mountain High Hamburgers.
