It was another cool day to Horton's plain. We (Asantha, Thusitha and myself) reached the trail head by 9.00 am and started trekking. The trail ran through forest patches, marshy lands, meadows etc. We reached our destination, the second highest peak in Sri Lanka, completing 8 km trail by 12.00 noon that day.
