My friend and I started at the lot across rte 123 beyond the windblown XCS area to the Wapack trail, yellow triangle blazes to the Blue triangle blazed Kidder mountain trail. It was a cool, slightly rainy day with a 60% chance of thunder storms that never materialized. Very nice hiking day, fun summit with scattered Cairns and an impressive stone wall, fun view of the valley and of course grand Monad.
