Great way to start the new year. Plantar Fasciitis to start off, but it was totally tamed by the end off the day. In the 30'sF all day, some wind. Without thinking about it too much, I decided to add on Ragged, then meet Kevin down in the wash. When I looked at the route. I realized I was adding 1.5 miles and 1000' of gain, so I started to rush. But when I hit the ridge to Jagged, staying on the top brought me down to about 1.2 mph. I recommend that if someone wants to do this route as a "run," s/he should stay in the wash east of the jagged south ridge as long as possible. Thanks Kevin for a great idea and amiable company and conversation.
