June 1, 2021. Absolutely stunning views! Patchy snow along most of the trail, but I was fine in my hiking boots without traction. Saw others wearing tennis/running shoes. At the summit there is a large buildup of snow along the northern slope that people were walking out and taking pictures on. That block of snow could detach at any time, so don’t walk out on it.
