Felt like I was cashing it in doing only Avalanche, then I saw this wonderful ridgeline traverse and it filled my heart with glee. Worked my way through Class II slopes to the top, with even better views than Avalanche. Avalanche may get the crowds, but Hoyt is hands down a better summit.
