Mike & I did the 1.5 hour drive from Vegas to hike up here. It's a lonely peak and one that I've been wanting to do for a while now. It was 39 degrees when we started, but it got warmer as we made our way up the ridge. The wind wasn't too bad. For a change of scenery, we descended down the east gully, which was actually very pleasant. After hiking, we drove around to Horse Springs to check that out, as well as a nearby mine. Gotta love the Jeep!
